摘要:The recent proliferation of digital cameras andcamera-equipped smart phones permits an end user to recordeveryday events and experiences. A vast amount of dailyactivity records, called lifelogs, represent a valuable healthdata resource. The advent of lifelogging technology has beenchanging the way healthcare services are being used,emphasizing the importance of personalizing services. Toprovide accurate personalized healthcare service, it isnecessary to gather as much personal lifelog data as possibleabout patients. However, as the amount of lifelog databecomes vast, the need for an efficient way of managing andstoring such vast information emerges. In this paper, wepropose a novele lifelog management scheme based on thecharacteristics of collected data in a hierarchical lifelogsystem. In our proposed scheme, the available storage for thepreprocessing of lifelog data is selected to optimally utilizecomputing and storage resources. The analytical resultsindicate that our approach achieves better performance thanthe existing lifelog management scheme by selecting theappropriate storage.
