摘要：Medical imaging technology is becoming animportant component of larger number of applications suchas diagnosis, research and treatment. Medical images like XRay,MRI, PET and CT have minute to minute informationabout brain and whole body. So the images should be accurateand free of noise. Noise reduction plays the necessary role inmedical imaging. There are various methods of noise removallike filters, wavelets and thresholding . These methodsproduced good results but still have some drawbacks. Thelimitations of the previous methods are considering andanalyzing this research and the new proposed techniquepresents neural networks and SVM as an efficient tool forrician noise reduction. The proposed method gives more clearimage with higher PSNR and improved SSIM value than theprevious methods. In this paper, the techniques used forproposed work are discussed.
