摘要:Mobile node communication lies at the core forapplications such as disaster relief operations, intelligenttransportation system that aim at enhancing the safety andefficiency of transportation systems. As it does not rely on anyfixed infrastructure and all networking functions has to beperformed in a self-organizing manner, securing mobile adhoc networks become a challenging issue, due to the absenceof centralized services, key exchange and so on. This paperintroduces a framework called Secure and Self OrganizingKey Management (S-SOKM). The framework takesadvantage of the self organized structure that does not requiretrustworthy network and therefore ensures secure way ofcommunication between the nodes in network. To offer higheramount of security at low average end to end delay, an EigenReputation model is proposed. The Eigen Reputation modelevaluates the trust based on the neighbour node’s reputationand forwards the data packets according to the reputationcount. In addition, one hop certificate exchange is performedto reduce the computational complexity and thereforeincrease the delivery ratio. Thus S-SOKM offers secure formof network. Experimental results exhibit consistency with thetheoretical analysis, and show that S-SOKM achieves bettersecurity and lowers average end to end delay to other selforganizing key structure. Also, S-SOKM achieves comparabledata delivery efficiency to the state-of-the-art works.
