摘要:Consumers make choices about where to shopbased on their preferences for a shopping environment andexperience as well as the selection of products at a particularstore. This study illustrates how dairy firms and marketinganalysts can utilize data mining techniques to betterunderstand customer profiles and behaviour.A survey is done on blind dairy product packaging and itscompetitors. Primary data is collected based on the packagedesign rating of dairy products. The customers are evaluatedon the attributes like gender, education, occupation and aquantitative analysis is done with the application of datamining technique like classification on the data set.The paper presents how data mining discovers and extractsuseful patterns from this large data to find observablepatterns. The paper demonstrates activity of data mining inimproving the quality of decision making process in dairyindustry.
