摘要:In this research paper, ene rgy and exergy a nalyses of water lithium bromide half effect vapour absorption refrige ration system has been carried out. Ba sed on energy and exe rgy analysis the optimum inte rmediate pressure is computed corresponding to maximum values of coefficient of performa nce and exergetic efficienc y under various operating conditions. It is found that the optimum intermediate pre ssure corresponding to maximum values of coefficient of performa nce and exergetic efficiency is same. The effects of low and high pressure generator te mperatures, evaporator temperature, effectiveness of solution heat e xchangers and differenc e between low and high pressure generator temperatures have been considered in computing optimum intermediate pressure. The maximum COP varies between 0.415 - 0.438 and maximum exergetic efficiency varies between 6.96-13.74%.
