摘要：Many authors has proposed general family of estimators which uses known values of some population parameters on the auxiliary variable to estimate the population mean of the study variable. In the present article, we propose improved estimator which provides a significant improvement over previous families in theory and leads to a better prospective of application in various applied areas. The numerical illustration shows that the proposed estimator is more efficient than the existing ones.
