摘要：The article considers the place of economics in the evolution of social consciousness. It substantiates that the implementation of conceptual provisions of economic theories prevailing at the present time in the Russian practice does not provide the solution of national development problems. In the author’s opinion, the economic science should contribute to the formation of public consciousness in which the primacy belongs to the function of creation.
