摘要：The article deals with the concept of “inter-municipal cooperation”, it substantiates the importance of inter-municipal cooperation for socio-economic development. The article describes the basic models of inter-municipal cooperation and highlights their essential characteristics. Besides, it reveals the main problems, impeding the wide-scale usage of this institution in practice and proposes a stepwise algorithm of formation and development of inter-municipal cooperation.
