摘要：The present study aims to analyse the Socio-Economic Constraints Faced by Rural Households in their Investment in Haryana. A questionnaire is prepared and the personal interviews method is used to collect the primary data from rural household. The sample selected involved 100 households. Likert scaling technique is used to analyse the rating given by the respondents. Findings revealed that the low income, low saving, higher family consumption expenditure, higher expenditure on children education, higher expenditure on health care, lack of education, lack of awareness, inadequate loan, difficulty in obtaining loan, higher rate of interest, higher risk, security of investment and low interest returns is the important constraints faced by rural households in their investment. Higher expenditure on social ceremonies and higher investment of new technology score of below 45 means unfavourable opinion.
