摘要:We first designed and built up a closed-loop two-tank water level system. Next, we modeled the system and linearized the model for simplification in the analysis and design. Then, we implemented the model in a simulation environment based on Matlab & Simulation. We tried PID control methods to design the controller for the two-tank system, and compared the results in terms of settling time, overshoot, and steady-state error under various operational conditions including time delays.Here in this project, we used PID controller for coupled tank system.As we know, in process industries PID controllers are used more for various processes and in PID controller we have three parameters for tuning. First we used Zieglar-Nicholas and Astrom-Hagglundmethod for tuning, then derived two non-linear equations and solve these equations. We calculate transfer function and we use simulation technique for getting the desired response.
