摘要:Three-dimensional numerical simulations are performed on a rectangular channel with triangular winglet type longitudinal vortex generators (LVGs). The effect of variation of angle of attack (15°, 30°, 45° and 60°) is studied at Reynolds no. of 10000. The numerical results indicate that the application of LVGs effectively enhances heat transfer in the channel. The Nusselt no. and mean temperature were found to be greater using LVGs in the channel than without LVGs. It is observed from the simulations that heat transfer increases with increase in angle of attack at the same Reynolds number
