摘要：Discovering groups and identifying interesting distributions and patterns in huge data set is challenging and difficult task. Date clustering is one of the outstanding techniques of data mining which involve grouping data by similarity. MATLAB is a computational tool and can used for many data mining techniques such as clustering, classification and pattern recognition. In this paper hierarchical clustering method is used to identify groups in categorical data. This process is done into two phases first phase calculate the dissimilarity matrix and second phase use cluster analysis toolbox in MATLAB to cluster the dataset The experimental results using this tool on comprehension sample dataset provide the accurate and efficient results
