摘要：The aim of the study is to describe psycho-social problems of children who live in such an environment in either of parent gender having extramarital affairs was analyzed with the dimensions 1) Attitude towards sexual issues. 2) Influence of sexual issues on Academic performance. 3) Love and Care of the child and victim parent. 4) Parents premarital and extramarital affairs. The study also analyzes extramarital affairs -the nature of occurrence, personal life, social life, economic impact in the family and involvement of family affairs. This study describes in personal, familial and environmental issues and children's reactions to their parents related to what they learn or hear in their family. The study employed a qualitative approach, the purpose being to gather data relevant to the topic. The samples of 40 children (20 girls and 20boys and the mean age is 13.9years) from the schools of Lusaka province , Zambia and 10 women and 10 men having extra marital affairs were participated in the study. The Results revealed varying patterns of emotional and behavioral reactions of the children with reference to their parent’s extramarital affairs. Finally appropriate results were drawn with some suggestions to overcome the problems of children and to change the behavior of parents in presence of children.
