摘要：The Heath services for persons with serious mental illnesses are underutilized. The study was to assess attributions for mental illnesses are associated with socio economic characteristics of the society and to medical treatment to the victims. The sample of 30 using consecutive sampling with cross-sectional descriptive study. The selected data from the caregivers of (family members) mental ill persons of Manosshanthi Hospital,Therakal pudur, Kanyakumari district, Tamil nadu, India.The factors which caused to become mental illness and they ways to cure to be adhered by the parents or the Guardians of the victims. The government also should establish the Mental retard homes and supply free medicine for the victims, so that they will not be a burden to their parents or guardians
