摘要：Face ao crescente reconhecimento do risco do trabalho dos bombeiros, é necessário investir em estudos que identifiquem os efeitos destes riscos na saúde e que possam gerar subsídios para o estabelecimento de ações de proteção da saúde dos mesmos (Sousa, Fiorini, & Guzman, 2009). O presente estudo teve como objetivo verificar a relação das condições de trabalho com os problemas de saúde de um corpo de bombeiros profissionais português, constituído por 230 bombeiros, obtendo-se uma amostra de 150 bombeiros. Tratou-se de um estudo epidemiológico, com a aplicação do Inquérito Saúde e Trabalho - INSAT (Barros-Duarte, Cunha & Lacomblez, 2010). Foram identificados como fatores de risco com maior influência nos problemas de saúde as condições e características do trabalho, assim como os constrangimentos organizacionais, referentes ao ritmo de trabalho, às relações de trabalho com os colegas e chefes, ao contacto com o público e à falta de reconhecimento e de satisfação com o trabalho. Os resultados realçaram a exigência das tarefas inerentes à profissão de bombeiro e como estas afetam a saúde destes operacionais, enfatizando a necessidade de dar maior atenção aos riscos psicossociais neste grupo de trabalhadores.
其他摘要：Given the growing recognition of the firefighters risks at work, it is necessary to invest in research to identify the impact of such risks on health so it could generate subsidies to establish health protection actions of the same (Sousa, Fiorini & Guzman, 2009). this study aimed to examine the relation between working conditions with health problems of a Portuguese professional firefighters department, consisting of 230 firemen, with a sample of 150 firefighters. it is an epidemiological study, with the application of the health survey and labour - INSAT (Barros-Duarte, Cunha and Lacomblez, 2010). were identified as risk factors with the greatest influence on the health problems the conditions and characteristics of the work, as well as organizational constraints, like the work pace, working relationships with colleagues and bosses, the contact with the public, the lack of recognition and job satisfaction. the results highlighted the demands of the inherent tasks to the firefighter profession and how these affect their health, emphasizing the need to pay more attention to psychosocial risks in this group of workers
