摘要：O enfoque sistémico perfilhado pela segurança e saúde no trabalho nas organizaçõescontemporâneas configura-se como um sinal da transformação dos modelos sociais eorganizacionais de gestão do trabalho e da forma como as sociedades começaram apercecionar esta área.A segurança e saúde no trabalho surge como um fenómeno quedecorre da história do trabalho, principalmente do lado negro dessa história.Ou seja, nãose firmou como um pressuposto inicial, mas como uma necessidade social que foiemergindo devido aos confrangimentos que o exercício ocupacional acarretou para obem-estar do ser humano.Percorrer essa evolução é o principal intuito do presenteartigo.Tentar-se-á demarcar os compassos evolutivos da segurança e saúde no trabalhonas sociedades ocidentais, enquadrando a construção histórica da realidade portuguesaneste domínio.
其他摘要：The systemic approach espoused by the safety and health at work in contemporaryorganizations is configured as a sign of the transformation of social and organizationalmodels of work management and the way how societies began to perceive this area.Health and safety at work emerged as a phenomenon that stems from the work history,especially of the dark side of that history. That is, does not stand as an initial assumption,but as a social need that was emerging due to ailments that this occupational exercisebrought to the individual wellbeing. Browse this evolution is the main purpose of thisarticle. We will try to demarcate the evolutionary compasses of health and safety at workin Western societies, framing the historical construction of the Portuguese reality in thisdomain.
