摘要：Increased traffic congestion and the associatedpollution are forcing everyone in transportation to thinkabout rapid changes in traffic processes and procedures .The project is aimed at solving the issues regarding theurban traffic faced by both the Citizens and Traffic police.Our project is designed in such a way that Intelligenttransportation management system will provide servicessuch as decision support and a standard developmentenvironment for traffic management strategies .It providesthe user ,information about his proposed path for travelling,suggests alternate path , sends alerts to the nearby hospitalsin case of any mishap and enables traffic police to observethe real-time scenario for controlling and monitoring thesituations. In this we are using A* algorithm fordetermining the shortest distance between source todestination. To deal with this problem, the proposed systemalso illustrates an urban-traffic management system usingcloud IaaS.
