摘要：This study aimed at assessing the perception of adults towards rape. This descriptive study included 50 adults residing in Delhi, India, selected using convenient sampling technique. A structured interview schedule was used for data collection. Results revealed that people still do not have positive perceptions for rape victims. While majority of the respondents were females, yet many of them responded that a woman was responsible for rape in various situations. This study concluded that the issue of gender sensitization needs to be taken seriously by educationists, sociologists, politicians and common people alike.
