摘要：Allah arranged the year and put the months in order as they were in the beginning of creation in the latest religion Islam. The year is the lunar year and the months are twelve lunar months. They were named and put in order again by the Sunna of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh). Four of them are inviolable months and the oppression was forbidden in them. The oppression was explained in three different ways: to change the statue of the inviolable months, to do harmfull things and to wage war in these months. According to the third explanation, to wage war in these months is banned. But according to some scholars this ban still continues. In the opinion of some others it was abrogated by some Qoranic verses or by some actions of Prophet Mohammad. According to some of them there was no ban and any abrogation. Indeed who accepted that ban still continues do agree that if an attack was aimed at Muslims in these four inviolable months an opposite attack is justified by prophetic custom. Polytheists see the inviolable months as a custom, not as a religious rule. But muslims regard that in these months war is banned unless they are attacked first. They respect the social peace all the time. But if they were attacked they reserve the right of defending themselves.
