摘要：The aim of this paper is discussing about the relevance and application of psychology to the science library. Library is considered as a form of educational innovation. Educational innovation itself is an innovation in the field of education or innovation to solve educational problems. Library function is as a source of learning and teaching, helping students clarify and expand knowledge in the field of study, develop interests, talents and reading habits, get children to look for information themselves and expand student learning opportunities. With the presence of the library, is one of the steps to fend off the challenge of globalization and improve the quality of human resources. In developing the library, the need for support from other sciences, one of which is the science of psychology. Psychology is the science which deals with the interaction of behavior and its relation to the environment. Therefore, the existence of the library as an information management unit is very important to support the effective communication in society.
