摘要：Objective. To run down formation and development of the scientific school in the sphere of hygiene of the environmental carcinogenic factors at the SI “O.M. Marzeiev Sciences of Ukraine”. Materials and methods. Archives materials, dissertation theses, scientific publications, reports on the activity of the Institute. Methods of historical-bibliographic search, historical, logical, scientometric analyses were used. Results. There are materials on the study of formation and development of the scientific school in the sphere of hygiene of the environmental carcinogenic factors, created by the professor N.Ya. Yanysheva in the early 60-th, XX century at the O.M. Marzeiev Institute for General and Municipal Hygiene. A contribution of Professor Yanysheva and her students in the solution of the problems on the prevention of oncologic morbidity, development of the issues of the standardization of carcinogenic substances and methodology of the carcinogenesis study is demonstrated.
