摘要：Globalization era has been identified by the acceleration in technology and communication development. Everyone is overwhelmed with the bulk of information and therefore need to know how to deal wioth it. Library as an information center has big responsibility to literate its users with such a confusing information resources. In this article, the author offers his perspectives on the role of librarian in a user education program that has shifted from the manual tutorial to more professional teaching. According to the author, the program should be well-planned in order to accommodate various alternatives of teaching.
