摘要：The necessary level of foodstaff guarantee of grains is one of the most important factors of food security. Because, in the food consumption model of Azerbaijan grains take the first place. The economic growth in agriculture for the last 10 years does not completely meet the requirements of the increasing demand of the population. That’s why, solution of the problems connected with the development of the grain production is considered as the priority for the next years. The problems connected with the grain production are investigated and corresponding proposal are put forward in the article. Key words: Food security, agriculture, grains, subsidy, competitive ability.
