摘要：The purpose of physical education and school sport this study is to investigate the self-esteem levels of students with different variables. Gazi University School of Physical Education and Sports School students who participated in a total of 306 students. Personal information form is used to determine the demographic characteristics of the students who participated in the study. Measured in the self-esteem of students Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory were used. Statistical analysis of the data obtained in the Kruskal-Wallis H test, Mann-Whitney U test and frequency analysis was used in SPSS 22.0 for Windows. At the end of the study it was determined that students' self-esteem did not differ significantly according to gender (p> 0.05). Students were determined according to age groups did not differ significantly in their self-esteem (p> 0.05). Besides, according to the students' self-esteem licensed sport participation has been found to show a statistically significant difference (p> 0.05).
