摘要：Nutritional monitoring was conducted with adult patients admitted with a framework of Acute Myocardial on duration of use of injectable steroids. The objective of this study was to contribute through individualized dietary treatment in order to assist in the recovery of the patient's nutritional status and promote better quality of life for the same. For this, we collected dietary history was known through an interview to the patient throughout the hospitalization period, through 24-hour recall of dietary habits and history. Also, we performed subjective global assessment, anthropometry, and biochemical analysis for determining the nutritional diagnosis and establishment of nutritional requirements. Adjustment was performed on hospital diet for better patient acceptance and made suggestions aimed at avoiding high-calorie supplement the depleted muscle and reach the protein-energy needs of the patient. Improvement of acceptance of the feed supplied and increased appetite by the patient, thus justifying the importance of monitoring a continuous nutrition since, after nutritional guidance as to the importance of food for maintenance and / or improved treatment, the same received discharged with a satisfactory outcome.
