摘要：With this study, determining problems faced by tradesmen in Dalaman, town of Muğla, and offering solutions are aimed. In the study, a questionnaire is applied to 220 numbers of 397 tradesmen registered Dalaman Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen according to April of 2012 and 113 tradesmen responded to the questionnaire appropriately. In the questionnaire, 31 questions were asked, including three open-ended questions. The concepts of entrepreneurship, small and medium-sized businesses and tradesmen are dealt with in the literature and a variety of definitions were given. As a result of the responses to the questionnaire based on problems faced by tradesmen, important findings are obtained. Tradesmen of Dalaman are complained about indifference of municipality to a high rate and expressed that their revenues don’t meet expenses, they are financially worse than in the past, there is a problem about loan repayment, insurance premiums and tax rates are high, government doesn’t support sufficiently to education and they have a problem in finding qualified employee. Furthermore, they complained that there are too many workplace and more than half wanted to limit the number of workplaces that are surplus and carries out activities in the same field.
