摘要：The article gives analysis of the results of intelligence and intelligentsia problems research in the modern domestic science. The author of the article gives characteristics of philosophical, historical and sociological researches of the essence of intelligentsia, its devellopment as a public layer, its ideological reference points, and influence on various spheres of public life in different historical periods. The conclusion is drawn on the necessity of revealing the conceptual bases of intelligence and intelligentsia problems research, development of intelligence studies as a direction of scientific researches
