摘要：Özet: Mizah ya da fıkra denince akla ilk gelen isimlerden biri şüphesiz ki Nasreddin Hoca’dır. Nasreddin Hoca fıkraları, eğitsel özellikleri sebebiyle gerek derslerde gerekse çocuk kitaplarında kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada ilköğretim beşinci sınıf öğrencilerinin Nasreddin Hoca’yla ve fıkralarıyla ilgili neler bildiklerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırma tarama türünde desenlenmiş, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi veri toplama yöntemi olarak kullanılmıştır. Ankara ili, orta sosyoekonomik düzeydeki ilköğretim okullarından beşinci sınıfta öğrenim gören 200 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiş araştırmanın verileri betimsel analiz yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçları şunlardır: Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin tamamı Nasreddin Hoca’yı tanımaktadır. Öğrencilerin Hoca’yla ilgili belirttikleri özelliklerin başında kendisinin ve fıkralarının komik olması gelmektedir. Öğrencilerin en çok bildikleri Nasreddin Hoca fıkraları, “Parayı Veren Düdüğü Çalar”, “Kazan Doğurdu” ve “Ya Tutarsa” adlı fıkralardır. Öğrencilerden en iyi bildikleri fıkrayı yazmaları istendiğinde ise en çok “Parayı Veren Düdüğü Çalar” , “Kazan Doğurdu” ve “Halim Ne Olurdu?” fıkralarını yazmışlardır. Öğrencilere yazdıkları fıkradan çıkardıkları dersin ne olduğu sorulduğunda ise öğrencilerin 33’ü doğru, 115’i yanlış, 34’ü kısmen doğru yazmış, 17’si ise cevap vermemiştir. Ayrıca öğrenciler fıkraları en çok hikâye ve ders kitaplarından öğrendiklerini belirtmişlerdir. Anahtar Sözcükler: Nasreddin Hoca, Nasreddin Hoca Fıkraları Abstract: Nasreddin Hoca is undoubtedly one of the foremost names when humour or joke is the point at issue. The Nasreddin Hoca jokes are both used in lectures and in juveniles because of their educational features. In this study, it is aimed to determine what the primary school 5th grade students know about Nasreddin Hoca and his jokes. In the context of this aim, the research has been patterned in screening sort; document review being one of the qualitative research methods has been used as data collection method. The data, which has been realised with 200 primary school 5th grade students who belong to socio-economically mid-level primary schools in Ankara, has been analysed through descriptive analysis method. The results of the research are as follows: All the students that joined the research know Nasreddin Hoca. The foremost peculiarities that the students mention about Nasreddin Hoca are him being funny and having funny jokes. The most-widely known jokes of Nasreddin Hoca by the students are “Whoever pays gets to tune, The cauldron gave birth, What if it happens. ” When the students were asked to write down the joke that they know the most, most of them have written down “Whoever pays gets to tune, The cauldron gave birth and What would be my condition?” jokes. When the students were asked about the message that they have deduced from the jokes, 33 of them gave correct answers, 115 of them gave false answers, 34 of them gave partially correct answers and 17 of them did not answer the question. In addition, the students denoted that they usually learn the jokes from storybooks and textbooks. Key Words: Nasreddin Hoca, Nasreddin Hoca Jokes
