摘要:The present study aimed at exploring the relationship of Intelligence, Motivation, and Study Habits with Scholastic Achievement in Science of Secondary School boys. The study revealed a significant positive relationship of Scholastic Achievement in Science with Intelligence and a significant negative relationship with recording (A sub scale of study habits). Factor analysis was applied to locate the factor structure of scholastic achievement and the analysis yielded seven factors namely Intelligence, Comprehension, Motivation, A-motivation, Language, Task orientation and supports. These factors explained 72.58% variance. Multiple regression analysis located intelligence as the important predictor of Scholastic Achievement in Science.
