摘要:This study aimed to analyze the effects of a thermogenic product on biochemical and morphological parameters of an individual with non-alcoholic hepatic steatosis moderate. Was performed assessment of body composition, glycemic profile, lipid, inflammatory biomarkers and liver markers. The volunteer had an “ad libitum” diet. He remained sedentary for eight weeks while he had ingesting a thermogenic supplement for seven days a week. The energy expenditure was estimated using an accelerometer. There was a reduction in FPG: -13.8%; HbA1c: -3.3%, TC: -9.2%, LDL-c: -13.7%, TG: -25.7%; the TGO: -27.9%; of TGP: -35.5% and TNF-α: -7.7%, increased HDL-C: 4.5% and maintenance of IL-6. As for body composition, there was a reduction in body weight: -1.2%; fat mass: -7.9%; fat percentage: -5.1%, waist circumference: -1.5% and body mass index: -1.7%. It was observed after eight weeks of administration of a thermogenic product an improvement in metabolic parameters related to health of the volunteer. Key words: Nutrition, Biochemistry, Health.
