پایش پروفایل یکی از موضوع های نوین تحقیقاتی در حوزه کنترل فرآیند آماری است که در سالهای اخیر بسیار مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. پروفایل رابطه بین یک متغیر پاسخ و یک یا چند متغیر مستقل را توصیف می‏کند. این رابطه که معمولا با استفاده از یک رابطه رگرسیونی مدل می‏شود می‏تواند خطی ساده، خطی چندگانه، چند جمله‏ای و در مواردی غیر خطی باشد. تاکنون روشهایی برای پایش پروفایل ‌ های چند جمله‏ای توسعه داده شده است که بهترین آنها روش چند جمله‏ای متعامد است. از جمله نقاط ضعف روش مذکور تعداد زیاد نمودارهای کنترل می‏باشد که به صورت همزمان استفاده می‏شوند. در این مقاله روشی جدید بر اساس روش چندجمله‏ای متعامد پیشنهاد شده که در آن تنها از دو نمودار کنترل برای پایش یک پروفایل چند جمله‏ای از درجه k استفاده می‏شود. یافتههای شبیه‏سازی و تحلیل منحنی متوسط طول دنباله نشان می‏دهد که روش پیشنهادی در مقایسه با روش موجود عملکرد بهتری دارد. همچنین استفاده از آن در عمل بسیار آسان‏تر است .

Profile monitoring is a new research subject in Statistical Process Control which has been recently considered by many researchers. Profile describes the relationship between a response variable and one or more independent variables. This relationship is often modeled using regression which can be simple linear, multiple linear, polynomial or sometimes nonlinear. To monitor polynomial profiles, some methods have been developed, the best of which is the orthogonal polynomial approach. One of the disadvantages of this method is the large number of control charts which are simultaneously used. In this paper, a new approach has been proposed based on orthogonal polynomial approach, in which only two control charts are used to monitor a k^th-order polynomial profile. Simulation findings and average run length (ARL) curve analysis imply better performance of the proposed approach compared to the existing approach. Also, using the proposed approach is much easier in practice.
