بهرام گور و بهرام چوبین از چهره‌های برجسته شاهنامه‌اند. به نظر می رسد، داستان زندگی این دو قهرمان، درگذر زمان دستخوش روایتهای افسانه‌ای و عامیانه شده و تا اندازه‌ای در هاله رمز و ابهام فرو رفته است. تشابه در برخی از روایات و حوادث زندگی این دو، این فرضیه را قوّت می بخشد که این وقایع مربوط به زندگی یک نفر است. با وجود این از خلال ابیات شاهنامه می‌توان تا حدودی به شخصیت واقعی آنها پی برد. داستان بهرام گور و بهرام چوبین به علّت آنکه در بخشهای پایانی شاهنامه قرار گرفته، کمتر مورد توجه بوده است، با این حال مردم همواره به نظر احترام به آنان نگریسته‌اند؛ زیرا شخصیت این دو قهرمان بزرگ را با روحیه حقیقت جویی خویش، همراه و هماهنگ دیده اند. هم نامی این دو چهره نیمه تاریخی، آمیختگی بیشتر سرگذشت آنها را در پی داشته است که بازتاب آن را در شاهنامه نیز می‌توان دید.
در این جستار تلاش برآن است تا با در نظر گرفتن یکی از نیرومندترین انگیزه های بشری؛ یعنی قدرت که بسیاری از رفتارهای انسانی را شکل می‌دهد و همچنین د‍یگر نظریه های مربوط به آن، تصویری تقریباً واقعی از شخصیت این دو قهرمان بزرگ نشان داده شود. ظهور این دو شخصیت در شاهنامه، براست‍ی بروز «ناخودآگاه جمعیِ» ملّتی آرمان خواه و حقیقت جو در برابر تجاوز بیگانه و استبداد داخلی است.
- 其他摘要：Bahrame Gur and Bahrame Chobin are among the prominent characters of Shahnameh. It seems that the story of the life of these two champions has been exposed to legendary and popular narratives and it has been hidden in ambiguity and mystery. Similarity in some of the narratives and events of the life of these two characters enforces this hypothesis that these events are related to the life of one person. Since the story of Bahrame Gur and Bahrame Chobin has been located at the end of Shahnameh little attention has been paid to it. Nonetheless people who loved culture and peace always respected them because they found the character of these two champions in harmony with their own truth-seeking character. The sameness of the name of these two semi-historical characters made their adventures more complex and this matter has been also reflected in Shahnameh. This research tries to give an approximately real illustration of these two great champions by considering one of the most powerful humane motives, namely power, and the related theories which form a great degree of human's manner. The appearance of these two characters in Shahnameh represents the "collective unconscious" of an idealist and truth-seeking nation against the assault of foreigners and inner monarchy.
