摘要：L’article s’inscrit dans la suite de plusieurs travaux de géographes sur l’importance des facteurs marchands dans l’espace transfrontalier entre le Bénin et le Niger. Il souligne le rôle des villes comme Malanville et Gaya dans la structuration de ce commerce et dans les réseaux d’acteurs au travers de la frontière. Les mouvements de peuplement et les opportunités économiques expliquent l’urbanisation frontalière. Les mobilités quotidiennes, les flux de produits, les réseaux et les circuits économiques entre les marchés urbains et ruraux, et entre les métropoles d’États renforcent le rôle de l’espace de transit et sa fonction marchande. La démonstration va plus loin en considérant que ces pratiques spatiales transfrontalières décrivent une approche de territorialisation dans laquelle la frontière est le principal lien. Le processus territorial s’appuie sur un espace fonctionnel organisé par des lieux anciens et nouveaux, urbains et ruraux, à travers divers réseaux et flux entre ces lieux. La frontière est intensément pratiquée au quotidien et fait partie de l’identité collective du groupe socioculturel Dendi. L’espace peuplé et productif devient donc un support d’identité. Il tend à être institué comme territoire transfrontalier. Mais son exploitation et son aménagement sont influencés par les politiques nationales et régionales de transport et de migration. La polarisation du territoire se renforce ainsi sur le doublet de villes frontalières que la coordination des logiques institutionnelles territoriales doit tenir compte.
其他摘要：This article continues the researches done by several geographers about the importance of border trade in the area between Benin and Niger. It point on the role of Malanville and Gaya cities in the structuring of this trade and the cross border networks. The populating movement and economic opportunities explain the border urbanization. The daily mobility, product flows, networks and economic circuits between the urban and rural markets and between big cities and states reinforce the role of the transit area and its market function. The text goes further by considering that these cross-border practices describe a regionalization approach in which the border make the main link. The territorial process is based on a functional space organized by differents places (former and new ; urbain and rural) and links between them. The border is intensely practiced everyday. It is a part of the collective identity of dendi group. This populated and productive area becomes the support of social identity. It tends to be instituted as border territory. But its management is influenced by national and regional transport and migration policies. These dynamics contribue to the polarization of the territory on border cities. Cross border coordination mechanisms are need to develop insititutional policies in order to consider these problematics of territorialization.
