摘要：Este artigo parte da experiência da autora no Arquivo Nacional das Imagens em Movimento da Cinemateca Portuguesa - Museu do Cinema, onde tem desenvolvido, desde março de 2012, uma pesquisa sobre o filme turístico português, para refletir sobre a noção do arquivo como um terreno antropológico. Argumenta-se que o modo como se concebe o arquivo tem importantes consequências para o modo como se constrói o objeto. Neste caso, o reposicionamento teórico do arquivo como terreno ou campo conduziu ao questionamento da centralidade, na pesquisa, do filme como imagem-conteúdo, bem como de conceitos como o de "olhar turístico", que têm vindo a definir e a delimitar o estudo da relação entre turismo e visualidade. Deu também origem a um projeto de investigação, onde estas ideias têm sido testadas e desenvolvidas.
其他摘要：The article reports the author's experience in the National Archive of the Moving Images of the Portuguese Film Museum, where she has been carrying out research on the Portuguese tourism film since March 2012, as a departure point for a reflection on the notion of the archive as an anthropological terrain. It is argued that the way the archive is conceived has important consequences for the way the object is constructed. In this particular case, the theoretical repositioning of the archive as a terrain or field led the author to call into question the centrality of the film as image-content, together with concepts like "tourist gaze", which have been defining and delimiting the study of the relationship between tourism and visuality. It has also culminated in a research project, in which these ideas have been tested and developed.
