摘要：Between 1682 and 1810 there was a theatre at Versailles, built into the narrow space between the Cour des Princes and the South Parterre at the end of the South Wing. This was where most of the entertainments for the royal family and the court were held during the Ancien Régime. It was here also, during the French Revolution, that a Société dramatique staged performances for its fellow citizens. Yet this little theatre was originally designed as a temporary structure
