摘要:This paper reports partial results of a study that had as general objective to explore and describe the risk factors for school violence in a technical high school in Tlaxcala, Mexico. This research report shows the results found at the answers given by students and teachers in relation to the characteristics of coexistence that occurs at the school. Quantitative and qualitative methods were used. A questionnaire was administered to 76 students in three groups of high school teenagers. Semistructured interviews were conducted with two teachers. The analyzed data indicate that students perceive the school environment with features of unfairness in treatment, humiliation and frequent fights between peers. Teachers reported concern about how to punish and not on how to encourage a holistic education.
