摘要：In a desert forlorn I wished clouds be near Rain issued forth beauties true and sheer When the whole sky was iridescent sphere Someone said within me that God is Fair When the stars were smiling in darkest night In the heart of gloom were scattering light When the bleak aspects of life seemed bright Someone said within me that God is Right When the rose was blooming somewhere out of dust Velvet petals were erupting from soil’s crust In the world I thought who came at first Someone said within me that God is Just In a dream tonight I saw my soul Like a sudden spark from darkening hole I mused about life’s fact and role Someone said within me that God is Whole.
