摘要：This paper discusses the issues related to translation of English borrowings focusing on the needof creation of technical terms in Tamil. As everyone knows language can’t be static and it keepschanging according to the changes that happen in life style of the people, economy of the countryand influence of soiocultural and political factors. In order to avoid puzzles which come up as aresult of use of English borrowings in Tamil, we need to create technical terms which will helpus to unravel the ambiguities connected to the use of English borrowings. This paper also dealswith the issues related to creation of technical terms, methods of creation of technical terms,standardized forms of technical terms and communicative capacity of technical terms.
