  • 摘要:Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a field concernedwith interpersonal communication to enhance individualas well as group dynamics. Consequently, new patterns ofbehavior and communication are developed and applied in many fieldsincluding the business field. Patterns encompass not only observableactions, but also the thinking processes and the organization ofpeople’s states-of-mind, including their emotions and how all sensesare used to reach a point of attention or concentration. With the focuson creating models of human excellence, many applications of NLPhave been developed including leadership related applications. A needto explore and assess NLP in the Lebanese work environment has beenraised in order to define the workplace dynamics between leaders andsubordinates as gleaned from data gathered from several Lebanesecompanies.Accordingly, the main purpose of this paper is to assess NLP patternsand behaviors, as practiced by a sample of Lebanese employees andmanagers, in order to shed light on current leadership practices in theLebanese workplace and the consequences of such a practice on theorganization’s objectives. This research is exploratory, descriptive andquantitative using a survey questionnaire. Results are expected toassess the workplace environment by defining the dynamics of therelationships between employees and managers that are believed toplay a significant role in the assessment of the organization’s health.
