摘要：Taxonomic studies on Brazilian semi-arid collections of earthstars revealed the occurrence of three species: Geastrum floriforme (first record for Brazil), Geastrum violaceum (new for the tropical region) and Geastrum xerophilum (second record for the Neotropics).
