摘要：African continent is under transition. Most of the countries in Africa are conflict riddensocieties and most of them are facing bad governance challenges. In some countries there isintractable political wrangle going on from last so many decades and still conflict isunresolved. The African Continent is a true political and social mosaic. There are countriesthat are making a real move towards democracy. There are others in which the democraticexperiment is in fragile situations. In many others, the political, social, and Stateinfrastructure has failed. This study is a scholarly output to look at the challenges whichAfrica as a whole is facing in the field of good governance. What are the future prospects willbe also highlighted.
