摘要：Individuals and corporate establishments alikeare faced with threat from malicious attacks andinfringement of their privacy over the internet or while usingmobile devices. For this reason, there is a need for anenhanced means of information detection. Steganography isthe practice of protecting files by hiding it within other files.This concept has been used by many businesses since itsintroduction. It has been applied in the field ofcommunication most especially in the music industry.Information can be embedded in computer files like images,videos or audio. Hiding data in plain sight by encryption candraw unwanted attention to hidden messages thereby leadingto high cases of attempts on decryption by unauthorizedpersons as such there is need to hide data in a form that willnot be suspected by attackers. The aim of this research is todevelop the possibility of using steganography mobile devicesfor the transmission of secured information. The system willbe designed using UML (Unified Modeling Language) toolsand android phone as the developing environment. Thesuccessful implementation of steganography can boostsecurity for highly confidential files or messages that aremeant to be kept in top secret forms in mobile devices
