摘要：The problem of the population of small villages (with the population less than 300 inhabitants) from the CentralRegion of Republic of Moldova is analyzed from the human-geographic point of view in this article. The followingcharacteristics have been considered: the evolution of number and structure of the population, spatial accommodationof the given settlements and their classification and others. The basic results, conclusions and offers for the decision ofspecific problems have been presented.
