摘要：Different methodes of izothiocyanatochalcones′ synthesis were studied. Good results give the method which includescondensation of N,N-dimethylthioureidoacetophenones with aromatic aldehydes, followed by elimination of dimethylaminefrom the corresponding chalcone when it is being treated with acetic anhydride in the case of 4-dimethylamino-3′and 4′-N,N-dimethylthioureidochalcones. Direct condensation of 4-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde with 4-izothiocyanatoacetophenonein the presence of acid catalyst gives a chalcone yield of 91%.
