摘要：What is expected from a future young officer concerning the knowledge about the intellectual property protection is the knowledge about the basic concepts of intellectual and industrial property, about the general procedure of classified innovation protection as well as capability to transfer knowledge and guidelines from this field to his associates working in the same organizational structure, especially regarding patent creation application and protection. A research study involving the students of the final year at the Military Academy has been carried out, with the aim of obtaining information about the interest and preparedness of young officers with regard to the knowledge in the field of intellectual property, and especially to the creation and protection of classified patents. This paper gives the overview of the processed data obtained from the research and the subsequent conclusions.
