Job satisfaction refers to a person�s feeling of satisfaction on the job, which acts as a motivation to work. It is not self-satisfaction, happiness or self-contentment but satisfaction on the job. The study was conducted in P.S.G hospitals, Coimbatore. The study helps to develop efficiency among workers in the company. It helps to find out the employees satisfaction and the attitude of the employees in P.S.G hospitals, Coimbatore. The present study is descriptive in nature, which includes surveys and fact findings enquiries of different kind. The major purpose of descriptive research is descriptive of the states of affairs as it exists at present. The statistical tool used in this study is Simple Percentage Analysis. Job satisfaction is seen as a consequence of performance rather than a cause as it represents the difference between what is expected and what is received from different job facts. Satisfaction facts may include the work itself, pay and benefits, promotion opportunities, supervision, co-workers, the organization and its management and working conditions. Over the long run satisfaction of workers strongly influences the performance and efficiency of a firm. So the management can take additional efforts to improve and retain employee satisfaction.
