摘要:Mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a infrastructure-less network of mobile devices. In this type ofnetworks the communicating nodes have no direct links i.e. devices are connected without wires. The wireless means ofcommunications are vulnerable to high security threats. These networks can be easily attacked by intruders leading tosevere security threats. Black hole attack is an active attack that affects the normal functioning of a network and leadsto loss of information and other security threats. In this paper we will study the effect of Black hole on differentrouting protocols in mobile ad hoc network. In the beginning we will analyse the effect of this attack on protocols likeAODV, DSR and ZRP. At last we will compare the results of all these protocols. The implementation work for this willbe done on NS-2 simulator
