  • 摘要:NLOS channels are the major problem of indoor localization. In order to perform NLOS identification, in this paper, a novel NLOS identification technique is proposed which based on ratio values of minimum slope and kurtosis of energy block of the received signal using Energy Detector. IEEE 802.15.3c 60 GHz channel models are used as examples and above statistics is found to be explained in detail. Simplicity of the approach lies in using of parameters of Energy-based time of arrival (TOA) estimation algorithm. The CM1 and CM2 channel models of IEEE 802.15.3c channel models are used. Numerical simulations results show that correct identification of channel models with the proposed approach is better than with multipath channel statistics based approach.
