摘要:Positioning algorithm RSS-based (Received Signal Strength) has become a research hotspot of wireless location technology because it decreases hardware costs, consumes less energy, and implements simplicity etc. However, wireless signal can cause data fluctuation of RSS easily because of shadowing and multipath in the actual environment, especially in the limited space such as underworkings whose characteristics are humid, dusty, and severe shadow. So the wireless signal is easier to produce the multipath fading for refraction, reflection, and scattering. The new challenge about RSS-based positioning algorithm are brought by these factors in the limited space. In this study, a novel RSS-based positioning algorithm is proposed. Firstly, during the RSS collected process, the RSS fingerprint database is established based on supervised methods to ensure its precision; Secondly, during the positioning process, a variance filter is designed for correcting the target's RSS to ensure reliability of the RSS. Experiment results show that the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed algorithm are verified, and thereby the ideal accuracy.
