摘要:Impulse radio60GHz signalsaremuch more practical for ranging and localizationsystemswith high time and multipath resolution.In order to improve the precision ofTOA estimation, a new TOA estimation algorithm based on energy detector(ED) is proposed whichbased on a joint metric of the skewnessand kurtosisafter ED. Thethreshold based on the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) isinvestigated. Simulation resultsshowforIEEE802.15.3c channel models, the proposed algorithmprovides better precisionthan other ED-based algorithms.
